Some people sacrifice their life for humanity. All the time they think about others. Here we are sharing an inspiring story of Swami Vivekananda’s life when he was in America.
Swamiji had gone to America. After delivering his lecture at the parliament of religions, he was invited by many prominent people to stay at their place for the night since Swamiji had no place to go. He accepted one such invitation. He went to bed. The bed was very well made and comfortable. As soon as he lay down, he thought about his countrymen. He thought that they wouldn’t have access to such a soft bed as his. This thought disturbed him, so he got out of the bed and slept on the floor the whole night.
This wasn’t an easy thought. But people with great leadership skills most often do this.
Moral of the Story:
Leaders have to think about others.
Always think about problems of other people.
There are many people who are living low standard life.
