One of the biggest problems every one of us faces is that we don’t want to deal with challenges upfront. But this is one of the negative weaknesses we can have. Here we are sharing an inspiring story from Swami Vivekananda’s Life which will inspire you to not run away from problems.

Once, Swamiji was travelling by foot near a forest (not sure of the location), when he saw a large band of monkeys.

Fearing that they would have harmed him, he turned back and started retracting his steps.

As soon as he turned, the monkeys began to follow him. He started running faster, but even the monkeys came behind him faster.

Just then, an old man seeing all this, shouted, “Face the Brutes”. Hearing this, Swamiji quickly turned around and faced the monkeys.

They stopped in their tracks, and fled from him.

Learning’s from the Story:

Face challenges as they come.

The only way to handle problems is to deal with.

We need courage to fight with our problems.
