Lal Bahadur Shastri was born in the year 1904 in Uttar Pradesh. It was in the 1920’s this Lal Bahadur Shastri joined Indian Independence Movement and was sensational.

It is superb to mention here that he became a great follower of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru as he was impressed by their efforts to get freedom for India from the Britishers rule.

It must be noted that after India got its independence this Lal Bahadur Shastri was appointed parliamentary Secretary in Uttar Pradesh. It is worthy to mention under chief ministership of Govind Vallabh Pant that he became minister of police and transport and later he became minister at the centre after Rafi ahmed Kidwals departure.

It is simply superb that Lal Bahadur Shastri was the first ever transport minister who was responsible for appointing women as conductors.

Another superb piece of information about this great man is he was also the brain behind the usage of water jets instead of lathi charge to disperse crowds. By thee he was spoken in high esteem by many around. It is important to note that this Lal Bahadur Shastri in the year 1964 became prime minister of India.

The above examples clearly showed that Lal Bahadur Shastri worked for others and was highly inspirational to many. Awesome Lal Bahadur Shastri!!
