Every one of us has talent whether rich or poor. This is fact that rich have more options to pursue their passion than poor and middle class. But this doesn’t mean that we should stop dreaming about our goals.
Famous Dancer, Actor and Choreographer Dharmesh Yelande is one such example. He loved dancing when he was a child. His parents could not afford his coaching fee. But still he proved everyone wrong and achieved what he wanted to do.
In an interview of TOI sometime back he shared his success story:
Dance has always been my first love. When I was a kid I used to dance in front of the mirror. Being from a poor family, my parents couldn’t afford fees for dance classes, in fact, they would scold me for dancing. I used to watch film actors dancing and then used to try and copy their steps. My friends also knew that I loved dancing and they would encourage me.
Finally, during an event I got to meet Krishna Rao sir who spotted the talent hidden in me. He asked me to join his classes and trained me in various dance forms. It was just because of his training that I won in Boogie Woogie. But it was Dance India Dance that got me fame and now I have a good fan following.
This is one perfect example for today’s youth. Chase your dreams no matter what the result is going to be.
